Cronicles

March 21st-2010

I came here looking for a change of life, I thought in the developed world it would be possible to find a job I enjoy. But I realized that job conditions here are the same as in Colombia, I knew a guy who studied in one of the most recognized universities of Europe and he hates his job. The conclusion is, work for money, don’t look for any other motivation!
Right now I’m worried, I’ve been here for 3 months and I haven’t been able to find any job. My money is running out. I don’t have anything secure in Colombia when I come back.
I’m completely disappointed of myself, I haven’t been able to find a job or sell the things I brought. In here or in Colombia everything is the same, the only difference is that there I have my family and friends.
I fell… now I have to pick me up, knowing that the things you enjoy, don’t give you money. Just find ANY job!

I found a job as cleaner, a role that I've been avoiding since I arrived, but now, with the current circunstances it makes me happy. The visit of my girlfiend has filled me with a good energy. I feel the things have changed for the rest of the journey...

-What a terrible conclusion! You have only been there for 4 months, what are you expecting?, nobody said it should be easy. You still have much to learn. For now on you have to be hard to kill, just like a cockroach.

P.D: Man, you still have your internet fellowship friends :) and your blog to cry in all you want.

Oh my!!! Maese Arafat, the "developed world" is not as different as the "third world"... Here and there are sad and bored people, with unfulfilled hopes waiting for a miracle...
Come on my friend, your future is in your hand.
(I'll send you a good-luck hug)
